Cautions
Pyramid 2025.11 includes a number of upgrades to existing capabilities. As such, Pyramid recommends that the new release be tested on a duplicate version of an existing content database repository before any production upgrades are applied.
Further, a database repository backup should be made before upgrading any production systems and repositories.
Breaking Changes
- Operating System support: The following Linux operating systems are now out of support: Ubuntu 20, Debian 11, Amazon 2. However, support is now added for Ubuntu Linux 26, Oracle Linux 10 and Debian Linux 13.
- Repository Database support: Support for older versions of PostgreSQL (12 or earlier) as the database repository has been dropped. PostgreSQL 13 or later continues to be supported. If you are using a PostgreSQL repository that is 12 or earlier, it must be upgraded BEFORE upgrading your Pyramid instance. This includes the "internal" PostgreSQL repository option that may have been chosen in the past. For more details on this exercise, click here for Windows or here for Linux.
New Features
- New system-wide options have been added for managing code security in the platform. These provide better control over the various advanced capabilities in the platform that allow users to inject code or code-like logic into the system. Click here for more.
- Upgraded Kubernetes images are now being deployed with greatly improved third party vulnerability resolution.
- Upgraded relevant engines to operate on Dotnet 10
