Pyramid 2024.01 LTS "Fibonacci" has been released

Pyramid 2024.01 LTS "Fibonacci" has been released. This is the first service pack for Pyramid 2024 which only includes fixes for key issues and security updates. 

Software

• The main installer files and client SDKs can be downloaded from the Customer Portal. 
• Docker containers have been upgraded for Kubernetes deployments.
• Upgraded Embed API libraries can be downloaded from NPM.

 Cautions

Pyramid 2024.01 LTS includes a number of changes to existing capabilities. As such, Pyramid recommends that the new release be tested on a duplicate version of an existing content database repository before any production upgrades are applied.

Further, a database repository backup should be made before upgrading any production systems and repositories.

Pyramid 2024.01 LTS "Fibonacci"

Pyramid 2024.01 LTS "Fibonacci" is a maintenance release for the official Long Term Support version. Pyramid 2024 LTS is designed to offer a longer period of support with security maintenance releases but without the complications of new features or significant changes in functionality. Pyramid 2024 is functionally equivalent to the latest release of Pyramid 2023, but will be supported well beyond Pyramid 2023's end of life schedule.

It is possible to upgrade from a number of previous releases to this 2024 LTS release.  If you decide to adopt the 2024 LTS version release and then decide later that a particular feature in a later "Feature Version" release of Pyramid (say Pyramid 2025), you can comfortably upgrade from an LTS release to a later FVS release (say 2024.01 to 2025.01). It is NOT possible to move backwards in the release cycle, for example from 2025.0 FVS to 2024.0 LTS.
