Pyramid 2024.04 LTS Released

Pyramid 2024.04, a service pack for Pyramid 2024 LTS, has been released. This is the fourth service pack for Pyramid 2024, which only includes fixes for key issues and important security updates.

Software

The main installer files and client SDKs can be downloaded from the Customer Portal.
Docker containers have been upgraded for Kubernetes deployments.

Cautions

Pyramid 2024.04 includes a number of changes to existing capabilities. As such, Pyramid recommends that the new release be tested on a duplicate version of an existing content database repository before any production upgrades are applied.

Further, a database repository backup should be made before upgrading any production systems and repositories.

Reduced sort memory usage to prevent OutOfMemory errors during high parallel sort/join workloads
Fixed an issue that was causing Roles to be removed from a Model after importing the same model to a different server
Fixed an issue where uploading large Google Sheets failed with a 429 Too Many Requests error from the Sheets API

Fixed an issue where a Matrix Table in a printed present incorrectly showed the slicer caption as a breadcrumb
Fixed an issue where certain levels of opacity for text or shapes were not printing when exporting to PPTX
Fixed an issue where a Dynamic text in a table cell was cut off in a print

Mobile

Fixed an issue that caused an infinite loading screen when a user attempted to log into the mobile app

Fixed an issue where an error message appeared when attempting to save changes in the Logs Clean task within Task Manager

Resolved a problem that caused the runtime to crash continuously, creating additional runtime engin processes each time
Fixed an issue where some openID tokens were rejected by Pyramid causing login failures
Fixed an issue where upgrade failed due to duplicated values in the user_prom_selection table
Third party libraries with critical vulnerabilities that can be fixed have been upgraded.
