Cautions
Pyramid 2025.10.2 includes changes. As such, Pyramid STRONGLY recommends that the new release be tested on a duplicate version of an existing content database repository before any production upgrades are applied.
Further, a database repository backup should be made before upgrading any production systems and repositories.
Notes
- This security hotfix includes a variety of important security upgrades to internal and third party components.
- Systems using the internal authentication mechanism ("db auth") will force all users to switch their passwords on their next login once the hotfix is applied. Such systems should also enable multi-factor authentication and other password hardening options. This does NOT apply to systems using external identity providers like Azure AD, OKTA etc.

THANKS, & Team!
Is there a (more) detailed list of security upgrades or鈥攁s usual鈥攔elease notes? That would help us assess the necessity and/or urgency of an upgrade on our systems.
Thank you very much!

As a matter of policy, we don't share this level of detail on security issues for obvious reasons.
However, this is a critical and important update. It should be applied ASAP.
