Pyramid 2025 "Newton" Released !

Enhanced embedding capabilities and focus on user-requested features

Pyramid 2025  - codenamed "Newton" - is the next major release of the Pyramid Decision Intelligence platform. It includes over 75 new named features together with numerous functional upgrades, unnamed features, and fixes.

This release significantly expands on the platform’s embedded analytics capabilities. It marks a milestone in delivering functionality to suit the augmented analytics needs of Pyramid’s current and future OEM partners while improving in-house embedded solutions for enterprise customers. This release also includes dozens of enhancements and features requested by Pyramid users and customers in the user community and other venues.

Feature Version vs Long Term Support Version

Pyramid 2025 Newton is a major FEATURE VERSION release. It includes numerous new features and capabilities together with bug fixes. With Pyramid's new release protocol, as described here, customers who wish to deploy the platform on a more conservative basis should use the more stable Pyramid 2024 Fibonacci LTS release track. Those wishing to try out newer features and capabilities can deploy the "FVS" release instead.

Key bug fixes added into Pyramid 2025 will also be released as well as part of an upgrade to Pyramid 2023 Archimedes and Pyramid 2024 Fibonacci in the next few weeks.

• The embedded search bar, significantly enhanced formatting capability for embedded content and the database Xtender greatly enhance and simplify creating Pyramid embedded applications, especially for multi-tenant and OEM solutions.
• The version includes over 55 specific customer requested features collected from the forum and other venues, representing nearly 75% of the new or enhanced named features. A listing with links back to the originating post can be found here.

Software

The installer files for Pyramid 2025 can be downloaded from the Pyramid Customer Portal. Help for upgrade installations can be found here.

• 2025 containers for Kubernetes-based deployments have also been released on Docker and can be downloaded for deployment. The HELM scripts for Kubernetes have also been updated.
• Updates to the Embed APIs for new and upgraded 2025 capabilities have also been posted to NPM.
• Updates to mobile apps have also been released.
