Pyramid Community Weekly Wrap Up - April 12th 2024
Dear Community,
last week you did not receive a community update as I had the luxury of a few days off. We made a trip to Antwerp, a merchant city right at the border between the Netherlands and Belgium. One of the places that amazed me the most was the old Trading Hall in the city center.
Much like today, success or failure of any business operation relied on the quality and speed of information you could get your hands on. Where we first relied on faster horses, the telegraph (Amazing Book on this topic) and first data lines, we now have an overwhelming mass of data at our finger tips at any time of the day. Success is no longer depending on where to get the information, but the intelligence that we can put into the analysis to derive information faster.
