mangesh desai You have a couple of options:

You can choose to have the slicer open with the last saved uniqueName or position in the slicer.

Of course if a user saves the report with a different selection it will open with that selection.

If you want each user to have it's own selection, you can tick the "Remember user last selection"

Bottom line: if you save with a new selection, it opens with the last saved selection. If you want it to open with week 47 by default, then save the report with week 47 selected.

Marais Kruger Thank you for the details.

    I have one more query.

I have two grids on presentation i.e current weeks data & Previous weeks data grid and i have week slicer.

When i select week 47 from slicer, Current weeks grid should show week 47 data and Previous weeks grid should show week 46 data.

is there any way to achieve this?

    Hi Chris,

Are you wanting to default the slicer to the specific value 47 or the latest (last) value dynamically?

Yes, there are ways to achieve the filtering requirements you specify. You will probably need to look at the use of Parameters and the LAG() function to get the previous time period from the slicer value you select.

Without knowing your data and exactly what you require, it is difficult to be more specific.
