horizontal scroll

I'm assuming this is simple - and yet I cannot figure it out. My tables isn't that wide, there is no reason that it should have the horizontal scroll bar. How do I eliminate it?

    Hi  ,

The table display (or any other visual in Pyramid) on the Present slide takes into consideration several elements in order to try and make it optimal to view: area allocated on the page, number of attributes & measures within the element, type of visual and scaling type selected.

First, you can try through setting in the Column Sizing menu or manually change the width of the columns (in your example - "Series" column width may be reduced).  Also - in the formatting panel you can set "Wrap Text" to deal with long attribute text that influences the initial column width.

Second, there is a setting to mange the allocated area size of a row within a discover - "Row area size". You can read more about it here: https://help.pyramidanalytics.com/Content/Root/MainClient/apps/Discover/PRO/Formatting%20and%20Design/FormattingPanel/RowAreaSize.htm?tocpath=Client%20Help%7CPro%20User%7CPro%20Apps%7CDiscover%7CDiscover%20Pro%7CFormatting%20and%20Design%7CVisualization%20Design%7CFormatting%20Panel%7CGrid%20Formatting%20in%20Discover%20Pro%7CIn-Depth%20Grid%20Formatting%20Options%7C_____9

    Hope this helps :)

Thanks. I went in and used custom to reduce the width of each column to a comically narrow size, but the scroll bar doesn't vanish.

Then, I tried all the standard sizing options available in the Column Sizing tool but the scroll bar doesn't vanish.

Then I changed the columns to specific widths but the scroll bar doesn't vanish.

Then I tried changing the date element to show only 1 year thinking that perhaps it was showing the scroll bar to accommodate for the years that weren't shown because of the slicer selections... but no... the scroll bar doesn't vanish.

      Hi

I created a similar report on Present as you shown:

The scroll bar appears under the measures. It disappears after I reduced the size of the "Quantity shipped" column:

You can test modifying the column sizes in the Present while it is running. Hovering over the border between Quantity & Total will change the mouse cursor to <=> and allow for testing before applying in the Discover.

Thanks. I'll see what I can do. I was hoping there would be a simple and less manual solution. I appreciate you taking the time to offer suggestions. 👍
