Preset number of Y ticks in advance
Hi,
I want to build a line plot in discovery that would have pre-set 5 parts to split into, no matter the data min and max. Meaning, If I have 0 as Mix measure and 100 as Max, it would split it into 0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100. If I have next month 500 as the Max figure for the same graph, than now I will see 0, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 as the Y axis ticks. How can it be done?

Hey
There isn't a way as yet to Pre-set splits within a discover, can you please submit a feature request for this functionality. However you can parameterize the y-axis settings so that you can format the Y-axis. Go to the Formatting Panel > Select Y-axis on the drop down.
You can also read about how you can set up your Y-axis and what those options mean within the Y-axis Formatting panel. Here is the link to the Help Documentation ( https://help.pyramidanalytics.com/Content/Root/MainClient/apps/Discover/PRO/Formatting%20and%20Design/FormattingPanel/Axes.htm )

To add a feature Request, you can do that within community forum by going under Product > Product Ideas > Select Current Product Ideas

Thanks.
So is there a way that the physical measures of the chart itself (let's say 5mm X 10mm)?

Hi dgf,
The actual, absolute size of the rendered content can be defined when it is embedded in a Dashboard or a Publication. Outside of that, setting absolute size has no relevance.
Hope that helps.

See this example, both charts have the exact same physical absolute size, and the only difference is that the left one is a monthly trend and the right one is weekly.
and here both are weekly (different slide):
