Static value list for a dimension

Hello Community,

 

I am building a report for a client. I need to create a matrix grid with monthly return values(Jan to Dec) for each year starting 2017. For current year I don't have data for July and beyond, but I still need to have the future months as values in column for the matrix grid. Current grid looks like this,

 I want to have all the month names (including Jun-Dec) in the column with no values without adding dummy rows to the data. Thank you

    Hi  ,

    It comes down to how you have built your data model.

    If you are deriving your month and year dimension from your data and there are no records for months June - December in 2024, then the months June - December 2024 will not show because they do not exist.

       Thanks Ian! We would be inserting null values in the data to get the entire view for the year.
