Help: Alert Only on Sales > 0

Has anyone set up an Alert rule that triggers only when a minimum threshold is met or exceeded, even if the current dataset shows zero sales? I’m trying to create logic where an alert triggers only if total sales for a specific hour yesterday were greater than zero. At the moment, the alert runs every day, even when no sales occurred. For example, if no sales occurred at 2:00 pm yesterday, the alert should not trigger, but it does. To test it, I had to use an hour from yesterday where sales did occur.

 

Example: If no sales occurred at 2:00 pm yesterday, the alert should not trigger. Currently, it triggers regardless of sales, but if I test with 3:00 pm when sales did happen, the alert works as expected.

    Hi  ,

    Can you share a little more on what you did? what does the alert look like and the discover it's based on?

    Also when you say that if you set it for 3PM it works as expected what does that mean? did you see cases where there were no sales yesterday at 3PM and alarm didn't trigger? screenshots will probably help here.
