Transparency doesnt work ? (PA 2018 04.460)
Dear Colleagues,
first of all, i just registered to the PA Community so please help me to orient myself if this isn´t the right place for this kind of question!
We recently updated Pyramid 2018 form Version 00. to 04.460. However, it seems that the transparency option from the backround panel now doesn´t work (in both "disocver" and "present"/"publish". I only get a white color as result.
Am I doing something wrong, or may this be a bug (I read about a fix within 2018.03...).

There are multiple backgrounds in Pyramid. You'll have to set them to transparent for it to work as expected.
- First, set the background of the "canvas" to transparent in Discover (green app).
- Next, set the background of the "plot area" of the visual to transparent in Discover.
- When you then load the visual into Present (red app) or Publish (blue app), the visual will be 'see-through'.

thanks for your reply. Which PA Version do you use? I double-checked it and can´t get the desired result.
I set all three backgrounds in discover and the one in present to "transparent" and just get a "white" background. I remember it to work perfectly fine in version 2018.00 - even my saved presentations from this versions doesn´t work with 2018.04.460.
Does anyone encounter the same problem?

First, all changes are best done on the visual in Discover. Not in Present. It should work in version 4. Regardless, 2018.05 was released this week. You should upgrade for the new features.
