'Average' line that has no data points

Hello,

When I add an 'Average' line it has data points for each full month name. I want it to have no data points despite the other data on the line graph having data points. I am aware already that I can format the average line, but only case by case. I want the default for the average line to have no data points. How do I do that?

I found this but it only shows how to alter the average line of a specific element: https://community.pyramidanalytics.com/t/g9hckvx/data-label-formatting-on-average-measurements#x2hc1xz

    Hi

Currently there is no way to create a "template" format for a line chart with Average, where there are data points for the series lines but none for the average line. You will have to edit the average line format to remove the data pints and labels for each chart you create in this style. It's not too arduous a job though.

There are built-in, pre-defined styles, but currently no way to create your own style with your own detailed formatting options per series / average.

It's an interesting idea though, maybe raise it as a feature request in the Current Product Ideas forum.

    Hope that helps.

    Ian
