Is there a way to disable the drop zone pop ups in Discover?
I want to be able to turn off the drop zone pop ups. I'd like this specifically for the 'Analyze Further' use case, but I would be satisfied with disabling it entirely. See in the attached image the hover over pop-up that says 'Part Code'.
Is this possible ? If not, is there a way to control the information that is shown within it?

Hi Alexander,
I do not think that this is possible - but I'd be happy to be proven wrong! There is a "Hide Tooltips" button in Discover but AFAIK it has no effect on the drop zones but on the visualization itself (cf. https://help.pyramidanalytics.com/Content/Root/MainClient/apps/Discover/PRO/Formatting%20and%20Design/Tooltip.htm?Highlight=hide%20tooltips).
The information in the pop up shows from which table the dimension stems ("Part"), measure/fact tables which may be accessible for the dimension and finally at the bottom a description ("LS").
At least the description can be controled explicitely by maniulating the description in the corresponding model. For the fact/measure tables in the middle of the pop up I am not sure - I think they are automatically generated based on the definition of the model.
Hope this helps,

Agreed, I don’t believe it’s a function we can control at this point, other than to suggest changing the model or data source structure. However, it might be worth submitting a quick new feature request if you think it has a strong use case.
I would argue, though, that if users are analysing further to reach that point, I’d expect them to be reasonably proficient in understanding what they’re looking at. If not, a pop-up might provide a bit more context.

hi
This is not currently possible.
If this is important to you, please submit a feature request in the Product Ideas forum
Thanks.
