OLAP Createating a Calculated member under the Hierarchy

Hello All

Can we create a Calculated member under a Hierarchy and add it to a different parent under the same Hierarchy in an OLAP Cube. To give an example Let us assume there are 4 Level for PRoduct rollup. I want  to create a calulated member Under let us assume PL3 a calculated member as PL3.1

    Hi MADHAV BALIGA ,

    Please see below screen shot.

    When creating a new custom element in an OLAP environment, there is the option of choosing a "Parent Element". You can find this property under the "Execution" panel when creating  new Custom Member.
    The "Parent Element" option is not available when creating a Custom Member on the Measures.

     

     

    Please let me know if you need help with anything else.
