Row background color is not exporting same in excel

Hello,

Is there any way to export the same color format layout from the pyramid report to excel file.
At this point, I can see just the header colors are exporting correctly and that to different with font color while transferring to excel rather than the full report layout.
Attaching the screen.

Your help would be much apricated.

Thanks in advance.

There isn't. We don't translate the cosmetics of the UI of Pyramid into Excel fully.

Thanks for your reply, is there any future plan regarding the same? Our client is expecting to have the kind of feature what I mentioned above.

you can add a request to the product ideas section and then encourage other users to vote for it so it moves up the list.

      Hi  ,

Go to the Product section of the customer forum, then Product Ideas, then Current Product Ideas. You can add a product idea using the button on the right. Here's a direct link to it https://community.pyramidanalytics.com/category/pyramid-ideas

      Hope that helps,

      Ian

if you can't see the Add an Idea button, you will need to 'Join' the Group first

    Hi

The other obvious question to ask is why do you need to export to Excel?

We see an increasing trend in the market and with our customers in particular to try and keep data inside the governed analytic platform and try and educate users out of their default behaviour of using a highly sophisticated analytic platform as a basic data extraction tool for Excel.

however, of you really need to export to Excel and have highly formatted data presented through it, then consider using the Pyramid oData service from Excel.

If you have licenced the oData service, you can access the data from any Pyramid analytic view. You can even get the link interactively from any analytic object in a running dashboard. Then use this oData link in Excel to pull data from the query directly into  a table in an Excel sheet, then create whatever analyses, visualisations and formatted output you want from this table. At any time, you can refresh the data through the oData link.

Whilst you're still creating ungoverned data extracts in a  desktop tool, at least you are getting hydrated data from standard queries and analyses curated by the Pyramid platform.

LMK if you need more information on this topic or a walk through of the process.

    Hope that helps.

    Ian
