Single/MultiSelect Tree Slicer Default Selection
Is there a way to select a default position for a single/multiselect tree slicer?
Example: We are trying to have our slicer be an account open date, so it is set to a regular hierarchy, so we can have our dates cascading (year>quarter>month>date) in the slicer. We want it to default to the last member.
I know in the other slicer types, you can select a default position, but it doesn't seem there is a way to do it for single/multiselect tree. My other option would be to show my dates cascading in another slicer type, such as multiselect dropdown, but then it eliminates the cascading dates.

Tree slicers are very tricky (unfortunately). The cannot reflect classic sets or lists like the other slicers including the other capabilities like default member choice - because of the tree structure itself.
I suggest that you submit a feature request on the forum around this. If enough people sign on, we can devote some time to getting the default choice as part of the development plan.
