Data Mesh and Pyramid Analytics

Hello everyone,

I was wondering how can I leverage Pyramid packages to implement a data mesh for an organization. I would appreciate it if you share your experiences.

Thanks!

    Hi Mastaneh,

I'm not sure what you are referring to by "Pyramid packages", nor "implement a data mesh". Can you please provide a fuller explanation of what you mean?

      Hi Ian,

I mean are there specific tools in the Pyramid platform to help me migrate to Data Mesh Architecture and decentralize the analytical data?  Also for this migration, I shall need documentation, storage buckets, and tools for data privacy and managing accesses.

    Hi Mastaneh,

    According to Wikipedia,

"Data mesh is a sociotechnical approach to build a decentralized data architecture by leveraging a domain-oriented, self-serve design (in a software development perspective), and borrows Eric Evans’ theory of domain-driven design[1] and Manuel Pais’ and Matthew Skelton’s theory of team topologies."

I have no idea what any of that means.

If I were to guess, then Pyramid as a self service, no code/ low code analytic data modelling, query, visualisation and machine learning environment, agnostic in its data storage options, could, in the hands of those who are familiar with the Data Mesh concepts, be effectively used in that context.

    Just a guess though.

    Hope that helps.

    Ian
