How to color lines based on dynamic lists?

I would like to color these lines not based on the years, but on the past 1-12 and 12-24 months. That way it's easy to visually compare two periods during the year and in december it all comes together :)

I've made two dynamically generated lists (201910-202009 and 201810-201909) but now comes the challenge on how to add them to the color-dropzone.

After a day of viewing tutorials and reading on this forum I still don't know how to solve this problem, who can help me?

PS I am not able to add Dimensions myself to the model as it comes from a DWH where I have no access to. I'm trying to make this work with the Formulate possibilities in Pyramid.

PPS We're running Pyramid version 2020.12.058.

    • Line Charts do not support different colors per line segment. You can address this by building our own line chart in custom visuals. If you don't want to do that, switch to a bar or column chart.
    • Use "custom colors" with a measure chip to detect which months are going to be one color and which ones will be the other.

    here is a simple example
