Unsure if this has been fixed already (I'm on version 2020.18.055)- I have set the default grid type in my user defaults to be a flat mode grid. When I create a new discovery, the grid I get doesn't have the alternate line colouring like it should:

When I go to grid design, the correct design is selected already:

 

But I have to select it again to make the grid appear with the correct style:
