Move an IMDB Model to Another Server?
If we have an IMDB server with several models on it and add a new IMDB server, is there a way to move one or more of the existing models from the first server to the new one?

Hi Dave,
You can transfer IMDB models from one server to another with the next steps:
- Go to the IMDB folder in PA2018 folder and search for the IRDB.INI file and open it with notepad.
- Go to the "data_dir" path and copy the IMDB model from the folder.
- With the same method find the second server folder and paste the models files there.
- Open the second environment PA2018 and open a discovery, select the IMDB.
At first you won't see the new models, only after selecting "Add new Database" and selecting the models you will be able to see them.
*Please note that the joins between the model tables might not be as the original model (please change if needed).
Another method could be exporting the data model Pie file to the second environment and execute it with the change of the IMDB target.
