Welcome to the Community - Introduce Yourself!

Hi Everyone, my name is Angelie Janssen and I am your new community manager for the Pyramid Analytics Community.  I am very excited in this new role and to connect with you all 😊

I believe that a good connection starts with sharing a little about yourself – where you  come from, what you do, and what you enjoy outside of work.  So let me start by introducing myself!

I am based in the US, and currently reside in Utah.  I have been in the analytics space since 2005, and have been with Pyramid Analytics since 2020 in both pre and post sales capacity.  In the last 2 years, I have been focused on developing courses for our customers in the LMS, and working with our partners.

Outside of work, I like to spend most of my time outdoors hiking, snowboarding, running, cycling, and checking things off my list like skydiving or get my husband and friends to do challenging treks in the mountains.  I also like to read and travel, and for the most part, spend time with our dogs.

I look forward to interacting with you all in this community we’re building together.  Working with our customers and looking for ways to enhance user experience in the community is my priority from here on out.  So please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, comments, questions, and your awesome ideas to make this community better than it already is.

Let’s keep this thread going – please do a quick introduction!  I am excited to hear from all of you, and learn more about what you do, your experiences and unique stories in this thread 😊

PS: 10 people will be chosen randomly to get some Pyramid Analytics swag!

Hi All, I work as a Lead Data Scientist in the Finance industry and very much interested in GenAI, LLM's, MLOps, Data Science and Engineering. This community will be instrumental in getting technical collaboration and focusing on different areas within Pyramid. I am new to the community and in California. Thanks

Hi Shane.  Welcome!  I think you're really going to enjoy working in the Pyramid platform, especially with your Data Science background.  Lots more coming in that area as well.  We're glad you're here!

    Hello all,

I'm Connor, I am a computer science graduate from Cardiff University. I have recently started a job at Snap Analytics, and have even more recently started using Pyramid (Today will be my 4th day).  I'm at the very start of my career so things are slightly daunting at this point but equally exciting!

If anyone has any 'things I wish I knew', please share!

    Thanks,

    Connor 😁

Hi Connor.  First, congrats on your recent graduation and for starting with Snap Analytics!  Snap is one of our  valued partners.  Learning Pyramid is fun and you'll soon find out just how powerful it is.  But APPLYING that knowledge in solving real-world problems and creating solutions is when it really gets fun.  There are many people in this Community who have a lot of experience doing just that.  The best advice I can give you is to always stay curious and never be afraid to ask questions.  Congrats again and welcome!
