Help Getting Stacked Bar Plot to Use a Consistent Set of Colors
I am building a discovery that is a paired stacked bar plot with the following characteristics:
- The X-axis is year.
- The Y-axis is a percentage of total annual insurance cost of workplace injuries.
- Each year has a pair of bars, the solid one symbolizing a single insurance company and the patterned one showing the average of all the insurance companies for the given US State. The name of the insurance company is hidden for data privacy. See attached image:
The issue that I am having is that there are 6 categories of injury types that are symbolized by the 6 different colors in the bars. When we select a different insurance company or simply a subset of years where 1 of the 6 injury types is not present, the discovery uses a completely different set of colors that throw off the consistency of the graph. See next image, which is the same exact data, but with a subset of years selected:
Ideally, I want the same color scheme applied regardless of what categories are present and one of the colors will just not be shown. Is this possible?
I am using Pyramid 2023.
