Web Page Illustration

I would like to add an excel document that is saved to OneDrive via a shareable URL to a presentation.  Has anyone successfully done this and if so, how did you accomplish this?  

I thought by pasting the URL in Web Page Illustration would do the trick but that does not appear to be the case.

    The easiest way to do it is by putting something on the slide that tells the user to click on it (a button, text etc.) In the designer mode, right click on the item, and choose "click action". From here, choose "jump to URL". The rest should be self explanatory. 

    The more complicated option is using the hyperlink function in the mark-up section in dynamic text tools.
