What happened to sorting?

My experience previously was that I could have Elements show up in a report in the order I selected them.

What I am currently experiencing seems to be it puts all "standard" Elements (i.e., the ones straight out of the data source) together, and then any Custom Elements. If I apply an alphabetical sort, it won't break up "standard" and Custom Elements.
