Target Interaction - Background Filters

I'm trying to use a target to filter a table of transaction data based on the selection in a visual on a different page of the presentation. This doesn't seem to work when the visual has background filters it only passed through the dimensions that are physically in the visual. Is there any way to also pass through the background filters.

Visual 1

 -  Dimensions included are location and debt age. These are passed through by the target without any problems.

- The data is also filtered by SL account classification either explicitly using the filter chip or through using the right click select elements function.

Dashboard - Target is applied from Visual 1 to a button which takes you to a transactional  view of the same data. Note that the Account classification of bonus debt is applied here and visible in the breadcrumb.

 

Visual 2 -  Transactional detail

The target works on fields contained within the visual but as seen in the breadcrumb no longer passes through bonus debt
