Adding Security to a Dimensions so only a small group of users can see and use it

Hi is there a way to have a dimension that only a small group can see and us it? 

I want to use a dimension in a report but I want to be the only person to be able to select it.  I would like to make sure it is being used correctly and limit how the dimension is being used.

    Hi 

    You can certainly secure a dimension by user role. But it is either visible and usable, or not visible and usable at all. I.e. you cannot secure it so that it is visible to users, but they cannot select it or interact with it. They can either see it and use it or they can't see it and use it at all.

    You can secure it though the model management tools in the CMS or admin console.
