The first workday does not appear as set up

I noticed that my Date Calendar Slicer shows the first workday as Sunday, even though I've set it correctly in Tenant / Tenant Default Settings.

Is there maybe another way to setup this? If not, I would have to configure it manually for each report in Slicer Settings.

I currently use the version 2023.10.129

I am not sure,, but between the tenant settings and the slicer settings there might be some extra settings within your model. For example, if you use Time Intelligence you can configure the "Week Start" here as well!

  - okay, but that's not exactly what I tried to say in my German English... ;-)
  
  My idea was, perhaps there is a setting in the model which overrules the tenant setting - like the language and culture settings on Model's configuration tab. As an example I mentioned "Time Intelligence" as I know that there indeed is such a setting. But I am not sure if it is a good way to implement something you originally do not need just to get a way to another settings dialogue.

Hi ,

The First Workday in the Add Tenant dialogue has nothing to do with your models. If you consult the Help on this topic you will see that the First Workday sets the default start of the working week for scheduling tasks for that Tenant.

First working day of the week can be set per model through the advanced options of the Time Intelligence block thus:

If you are working with Direct Query models and the database concerned doe not have a calendar table with first weekday information in it, you can add a virtual calculated column in your model using the PQL function DayOfWeekNumber() that allocates a 1 - 7 day number in week based on a DateTime column.
