SSO

We're trying to figure out how to set up Single Sign On with Pyramid 6, using either CAS, SAML, Shibboleth or something similar.  Is there a way to do that or is that a feature that will be added in the future?

It depends what you mean by "6":  Pyramid BI Office (6.x) or Pyramid 2018?

    • For BI Office: Your only SSO option is Windows Authentication or programmatic access via the "federated forms" capability using APIs
    • For Pyramid 2018: Your SSO options are Windows Authentication, programmatic access via API and SAML (as of version 2018.05 only)

The type of underlying data source heavily impacts decisions here. Analysis Services (the data source used in BI Office) can only use Windows Kerberos Tokens. In Pyramid 2018, there are more data source options, plus there is an alternative approach to working with SSAS.
