Analyse Further Multiple Measures on 1 Line Chart

If you are using analyse further, is there a way to get 2 measures on the same line chart?

    Hi Natalie-Anne Botha ,

unfortunately I just found out that it does not work in "Analyze further". But it does work. But if you have editing rights to this Dashbaord, you open the Present file in editmode, then right click on the visual that you show us here and select "open in Discovery".

Then you can merge the two graphs.

You have to drag and drop your second measure to Value, as shown below:

Then drag and Drop it in y2, second Axis and select in your case Line Chart.

This will result in the following graph:

In "Analyze Further" you could not drag and drop your second Value "Quantity" on values, so therefore no merged graph could be generated.

    I hope that helps.

Please utilize a primary axis for measure 1 (Y1) and a secondary axis for measure 2 (Y2). I believe this approach will be effective for your needs.

Thanks for the feedback. Okay so it looks like it isn't possible for a viewer user using Analyse Further.

    Hi Natalie-Anne,

It works for me. When you take the second measure, hover it over the "Values" heading in the DropZone and you should get a slide off  "Y2 Axis" option, then from there you are able to choose the chart type.

I've opened a single line chart from Present as a Viewer into Analyze Further:

Dropping Sales 2 onto the Line chart option gives me:

Admittedly, it gives me two axes, but I get two lines on the chart!

    Hope that helps,

    Ian
