Send Multiple discovery in single Excel sheet

Hi,

I'm working on a publication, in which I have multiple discovery reports. When I try to export to excel, the generated excel creates multiple sheets for each discovery. I'm using repeater in the page for different sales channel so it creating more sheets in the Excel. For example, I have 8 discovery in the publication, repeating that for 7 different sales channel so when I export to Excel, its creating 8*7 = 56 sheets.

I want one sheet per sales channel, is there a way to achieve this?

    Hi Viji,

    No, this is the way it works by design. It is designed as a "Data Export" rather then a formatted Excel report export. It is expected that the data tables produced will in some way be used to drive further Excel business logic through formulas etc. In which case it doesn't really matter which sheet they are on and in fact makes it easier to organise.

    May I ask why you are exporting to Excel? What are you doing in Excel that cannot be done  in Pyramid?

    The business want it in Excel so they can do further calculations. This can be closed now.
