Reset query context on a click action

Is it possible to use a click action or something similar to reset the query in Present?

I've got two visualisations controlled by a mini tab - if the user selects an element on chart 1 it filters the KPIs via some interactions. However, if they select something on chart 1 and then navigate to the other tab without resetting the selection, the selection is preserved as a filter and they will then push invalid queries to the KPIs by trying to make selections on chart 2.

Interestingly, Pyramid actually seems to reset the selection by default when you tab away from a visualisation you have selected an element on for most things, but for dynamic text it does not and preserves the unwanted filter context.

Adding some more context here: this seems to behave how I want it to (i.e. selecting an element in a discover then tabbing away from it resets the selection) for everything except dynamic text so I suspect it might be a bug with dynamic text specifically rather than a feature.

One way I found to get around this is to drag in the base table for the dynamic text and set up all interactions to the dynamic text through the table discover rather than directly, then hiding the base table. However, this is a bit of a pain and will make this more confusing to maintain or replicate for users. So the question still stands about whether there's another way to get around this e.g. resetting the selection via an action.

    Hi

I seem to recall this cropping up before. Can you tell me what version of Pyramid you are using?

    Thanks,

    Ian
