Negative number formats
I have been asked to produce a report with a very particular number format, and I can't see a way to do it
They want negative values to be shown in parentheses and in red- I have managed to get the parentheses using "#,##0.00;(#,##0.00)" but if I try "#,##0.00;[Red](#,##0.00)" it doesn't work
Is anyone able to advise if it's possible to do this please?

Do you mean that you want the color to be red?
If so, you can use the color drop zone, to color positive/negative values.
Drop the measure that you are using into the color background/foreground and unto the Positive Negative sub option:
Then edit the colors as you like (say, red - black):
