SAP ERP (ECC) is usually installed on top of third party databases like Oracle, Sybase, IBM DB2 or MS SQL Server. More recently, with SAP 'S4Hana', its installed on SAP Hana. In each of these cases, you should be able to use the standard database connector from Pyramid to connect directly to those data technologies.

Connecting to SAP BW is a separate exercise. The Pyramid SAP BW connector is currently under development for release later this year.

I suggest you line up a support call with Pyramid support to show you how to connect to your relational data stack.

    Hi Manish Immadi ,

It would be easier if we know what data source specifically you need to connect to.

In general, you first need to add/define the data source in the admin.
For instance, adding a new SQL server.
Then, when added, you can open a new model, (advanced Data Flow) and pull a SQL source to the Data flow layout.
Then select which database and tables you need from it.

Another option is to add the new data source directly from the Model, by selecting 'Add Existing Database', Than adding the new SQL server details.

The rest should be straight forward.
You can also see an example in this video.

    Hope this helps.
    Kind Regards,
    Yakov.
