Rolling average on a switch list

I have a discovery which is driven by a switch list containing two parameters.   I would like to be able to apply a rolling average on each of the values when selected, however there is no option for me to create a formula within the discovery when i right click on 'values'.

I have a pre made formula which i can use to create the rolling calculation, however the switch list i created ('NPS switch list') does not appear in the business logic.

Is there any solution to this?

Many thanks,

    Hi  ,

In what hierarchy is your calculation residing? Pyramid is able to create calculations in all hierarchies, not just Measures. Check where your calculation is located and search that hierarchy if it is not Measures.

Also heck to make sure the calculation is not local to your discover, i.e. its scope is restricted to that one discover and is it not shared. If this is the case, right click on it and Make Shareable. It will then be available for use in other calculations and potentially by other users.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Ian,

The calculation is a measure, but it exists as a measure list rather than a calculation.  It doesn't appear when searching for it in the business logic folder.

I think my main question is, is it even possible to insert a measure list as a data point into the rolling calculation i have? If not, is there a solution to what i'm trying to achieve?

    Thanks

    Hi  ,

No, you cannot insert a Measure List into a DataPoint. However, you can insert  a Parameter into a DataPoint that is built using a List of Measures.

I'm a bit confused about what you are trying to do, but maybe that will help.

       Thanks, confirms my suspicions.

My aim was to make the values in my discovery rolling.
