How to reset running total by a dimension value

We want to create a running total over time for each state and we want it to reset for each state. If I create a running total quick calc off of an existing measure it totals across all states. I want to only have the running total for each state.

Here you go:

If this is a Pyramid Semantic Model, you could also consider using the (relatively) new semi-additive Cumulative Aggregation option in the Model. This will then handle all scenarios without you having to code a calculation for it:
