Calculate a dimension value (numeric)
I'm wondering if its possible to use a numerical dimension value in a sum?
I have exchange rates in its own dimension table and want to use them to calculate original currency premium value into a converted USD premium value?
Is this the best way to do currency conversions?
It is in its own table with rates for each account month. Ideally I want a user to select an account month and have the converted premiums values update.

It's been some time since you posted, is this still relevant to you?
If you can relate your currency and date and value to convert, then yes, it should be straightforward calculation. We'd need a bit more information though on your data schema and structure to be able to pin down exactly how to achieve it.
