How to call existing formula in a new formula

Hi

I have one scenario that is create one new formula as "Pyramid High or Medium or Low" based on values from existing formula.

Existing formula name is "Annual Sales

New formula as "Pyramid High or Medium or Low"  need to implement with below logic by using "Annual Sales" formula(which was already created)

  • If Annual Sales > 0 then “High”
  • If Annual Sales < 0 then “Medium”
  • If Annual Sales Null then “Low”

Note :- My data source is direct query

    Hi Sunilk,

    You've already written it, mostly!

    In FORMULATE, write:

    IF([measures].[annual sales]>0,"High",

      IF([measures].[annual sales]<0,"Medium",

        IF([measures].[annual sales]=null,"Low","None")))

or in MODEL (Calculated Column), write:

    IF([annual sales]>0,"High",

      IF([annual sales]<0,"Medium",

        IF([annual sales]=null,"Low","None")))

    Hope that helps.

    Ian
