Customizing - Pyramid Homepage
Hello everyone,
We are currently designing our own homepage in Pyramid to better tailor it to the needs of our users. The latest reports and favourites should enable them to quickly find the most important reports again. On top of that, we use the news feed to present new features, such as new dashboards or new data models. Futhermore, users can report system malfunctions to us via the ticket system.

Overall, we are satisfied with the content but less so with the layout and appearance. For example, there is no option for a free text field. We currently use discoveries and name them according to the heading. But that shouldn't really be the case.
Does anyone else have any best practice examples or experience with how to make the home page more visually appealing?
I am grateful for any tips.
Best regards, Jona

, I think this looks really great—even though I totally understand your request. We feel the same way!
That's why we often use dashboards/presents to place text information on the Pyramid homepage. In your screenshot below left, you seem to be using it in a very similar way. Our "Starter Board," for example, is very popular. It teases important company dashboards with a short editorial text and then, of course, allows them to be accessed via a corresponding link.

And, I don't see this directly in your example, we often use the Pyramid homepage to communicate important KPIs directly, without having to call up another artifact first. This way, the homepage itself becomes a dashboard, so to speak, by integrating Discovers there. The example below shows a type of monitoring, the current license utilization, and the history of an important nightly load run.

Best regards,
Micha
