Pyramid Explore #2 - More about your favorite plastic building blocks!

When we grew up, plastic building blocks from Denmark were all the rage, more and more sets were published. New colours, new series, new kinds of building blocks.

In this Pyramid Quest we give access to a dataset that holds all sets including the colours, makes of all Lego Sets published. Sorted by Series, Year of first sell etc.

The Dataset has been sourced from here: https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/rtatman/lego-database and originates from the collection on: https://rebrickable.com/about/

So what is this months challenge?

Tell us your individual toy story, unveil the history of your bricks. And then Beat our developer with a nicer visualization.

Can you do better than Mark Oldfield who recreated a design by Will Perkins and Andy Kriebel :-)

Is that challenge too hard? Here are some easier Tasks.

- What year did we cross the 25 Color Barrier?

- How many different pieces are there in your favorite series?

- What was the third most color/type of stone in your first ever set?

- What is the rarest color/size of brick?

Be creative, it's an awesome day.

You can find the Data Set in the prepared Dataset section of explore.pyramidanalytics.com, just start a discover and open the IMDB.

P.S. In my view a single 1x1 Brick is one of the most painful experience that you can have entering your kids bedrooms at night.

Best Solution for our Lego Challenge:
I just noticed that we mentioned the Winner of the Lego Challenge in our Community Shout out, but I missed out to add the winning Dashboard to the Challenge Article.
So again, congratulations to  for his Lego Dashboard:
You can play around with the Dashboard directly in our Explore Server. (You need to be logged in to the Explore Server to access this Content)
