Grand Totals Not Working with Filters

Hi!

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but the Grand Totals are off when you put a filter. It does not recognizes the filtered list, the total is still on the entire data selection. How can I make it so that the total will change as I put filters on the data?

    Hi Flora,

Could you please provide some more details on this issue?

    1. What data source are you connected to? Pyramid In Memory, MS-OLAP, MS-Tabular, SqlServer, Oracle etc.

    2. Do you have any calculations in the report? Formulas, Lists, parameters?

    3. What type of totals are you using? Aggregate?

    4. Could you also attached the drop zones view of the report?

    5. Do you have any Filters on the attributes?

    Thank you,

    Imbar

    --SQL Server

    2. Do you have any calculations in the report? Formulas, Lists, parameters?

--Yes. The Field being totaled is a formula field.

    3. What type of totals are you using? Aggregate?

--It's Grand Totals, I guess. I did not have these dialog, I just clicked on the Totals Icon on the ribbon and it showed total at the bottom of the page. It started to get wacky when I added a filter on the drop zone.

      Hi Flora Mendiola ,

      Sorry for the late response.

      Is this still happening?
If so, could you attach the definition of the calculation BinCost?

And also, in the bottom right corner you can see a small timer icon. If you click it and then the </> icon in the pop-up you will see what SQL queries are executed. Could you send them over? (if it says that the query is "cached" then turn off the caching in this report from the ribbon and re-run the query.

      Thanks,

      Imbar
