Embed - Full Functionality

Hi,

We have embed license , please guide us to utilize the full functionality as we are able to access less features in Pyramid. What should we do? For eg: From a slide , just downloading the report or the current slide etc.

    Hi 

    The functionality supported by embedding Pyramid (via the Embed APIs) can be found in our help here 

    With embedded content, you can download the discovery within a report using the standard right-click mouse action. This will offer default export options: PDF and Excel for presentations, and PDF, PNG, Excel, or CSV for visuals.

    A good way to enrich this experience is by embedding a "Publication Print"  function in your Present dashboard. This allows users to click an image, text box, or infographic within their presentation to export and download the associated publication in formats like PDF, PowerPoint, or PNG, ready for saving and printing.

      Hi  ,

      Thanks for sharing the update.

      Currently , we have embedded Pyramid Dashboards to our embed portal using content id. This allows us to download the reports in excel and pdf. The challenge is we can't select the current slide. By right click and downloading any page , it downloads all the content into excel which usually takes a lot of time.

       

      I need to understand if we have full functionality in Embed for having / selecting current slide similar to option within  Pyramid what option needs to be used?

      Hi @Aaron Yohannan

      The embed print functionality is covered in full here (for 2025)

      To print individual report items from a Present, right-click the item directly on the dashboard. Printing from the dashboard canvas, however, will print all slides in the Present. If you'd like to suggest an option to print only the current slide from a Present, please share your idea on our Product Ideas forum.

    Hi   ,  thanks for your time today discussing this requirement.  I wanted to summarise the options.  In your current version of Pyramid (2023) the preferred option discussed was to use the Publication Print  function with a button on the present.  This allows for complete control of the data that is output with the option to pass any slicers settings from the present to the publication.  As soon as you have upgraded to Pyramid 2025 you will investigate the new feature to print the current visual.  Thanks.  Alex
