You are sure you need to create a new dimension / hierarchy that only contains email address equal to "gmail.com"? Or are you rather looking to create a List of users with that suffix?

Hi Dolf,

Here's how you might do it to create a list of names that have a specific email domain:

First, create a list of emails that contain the domain you require. Open formulate against your model and select to create a List. Drag on  standard list and select your email attribute:

Add a "Contains" filter block and set the string to look for, in this case "adventure-works.com":

Save the dynamic list, in this case as AV.

Create a new dynamic list, this time using the "Name" attribute:

Then use a "Non-Empty" filter and pick the AV list we created previously. This will keep all the names that have "adventure-works.com" as their email domain.

Save the list, in this case Names AV. This list can then be used in your rows / columns / slicers etc. as needed.
