Is there a way to get the current logged in user?

I want to retrieve the current logged in user. The API Gets details for the current user. (pyramidanalytics.com) returns "devservicerw" as the current user, I need to obtain the logged-in username or my specific username.

    Please elaborate, 
    The API that you mentioned returned the user data(including the username) of the user who executed the API.
    The returned user is the user that has been authenticated (to whom the auth token belongs).
