Sankey Chart - Source and Target Same Dimension
Hi
I am looking to create a Sankey chart where the source is a month (I want to select a start month using a parameter) and the target is the same month dimension however I want to select an end month using a parameter) then the colour showing the status.
The idea being that I want to look at where the status changed from one month to another month...
is this possible?

Hi Nicholas,
You can use the same dimension in the source and target of Sankey Charts, but of course then whatever members you select will appear on both sides of the chart. You can't have the same dimension in source and target with different members in source and target.
Can you show a mock up of what you want to achieve?

I got the wrong end of the stick, I spoke to Jon (I'm going to get him to draw a chart), its actually so we have a set of statuses so say quote, provisional, signed, written on one side, and this will be for x account month, the sankey chart then needs to say for the following account month (on the other side) x million of premium moved from quote to written, x million of quote also stayed as quote etc. The problem still being the dimension for left hand side and right hand side of sankey is same dimension. I'll get something drawn up to show.
