Is it possible to create a cascading global slicer in pyramid analytics?

    Yes.
    In a Presentation, adding two slicers (or more) of attributes from the same dimension. then create interactions between them.

    It should.
    it depends on your underlying data.
    it uses a Non empty function.

    For instance, using the IMDB (In memory DB)
    For the first slicer, I've selected First name from Customers, And for the second, Product from Products.
    You can see that when changing the selection on the left slicer, the right one gets updated.

    Adding to this: I have successfully done this when the two drop downs are single select but not multi-select. For example, I want my College hierarchy to interact with our Majors hierarchy so the major list only shows majors available in the selected college but I also want to be able to select multiple colleges at the same time. I have done this successfully in a discovery, but in a not presentation. Simply adding the interaction between the two multi-select drop downs isn't working in this case (but it works with single select).
