Switch the dynamic parent to a custom member formula that derives its values off the child parameter and its parent. Then the grid won't change, while its values will.

You can import/export the definitional aspects from the admin. The Data Catalog export in Discovery is for end users - who typically would not want to use a JSON file.

The easiest way appears to add the measures to the rows or the columns or your grid (rather than the background). Then the indicator is hidden. Not sure if the math still works though.

@Nicholas Campbell Your issue is still a little unclear. Can you expose a bigger image and highlight what's a calculation versus an "indicator". Also, what did you do to create the indicator?
