Embedding Pyramid BI Office Website in a Web Application Using iframe

To embed the Pyramid website inside another web application, developers should simply reference the URL inside an IFRAME tag. For example:

<iframe src=”http://pyramid.mycompany.com” /> [absolute link]

 Or

 <iframe src=”/pyramid/” /> [relative link]

Alternatively, you can embed a specific report or dashboard onto a webpage, so that end users consume the reports/dashboards directly. This can be done, by using the URL referencing framework. The URL’s can be generated easily for testing purposes using the “Send Email Link” button in the "Share" section of the client.

The iframe for a specific report or dashboard will look something like this:

 <iframe src=”http://pyramid.mycompany.com/default.aspx?bookid=7ea36a85-2424-46ae-b32c-276bd65adf52|ispasFalse|reportb3b5d53a-9e50-4491-9848-f87c5ffce712|ws0|wsb0|isDisabledAnalyticsFalse|isDashboardPanelOnTrue” />

  • How do I do this and not require the users to authenticate?

  • Pyramid always requires authentication. If you want, you can hard code the authentication with a default account using the "federated forms" programmatic login approach. this will allow you to get around the problem.
