Server Collation MUST Be Case Insensitive

Problem description:
Not all Pyramid database scripts has run successfully, this will throw an error at the end of the configuration stage but will, but after this message it will seem to finish successfully, again to fail when trying to access the Admin console of the application.

Solution:
The default collation for the SQL server where Pyramid database resides,
should be set to SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AI

The CI setting stands for ‘Case Insensitive’ and it’s required for the Pyramid installation scripts to run successfully.
Since a Collation for the SQL server is set during the SQL installation, we wouldn’t expect our clients to change it.
(But if you fill the need to, you can. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms179254.aspx)

In this case, the workaround would be to manually create a new empty ‘Pyramid’ database and while doing so, set the required collation.
Then run the Pyramid installation again, this time selecting the Pyramid database you have just created.
