BI Office Website is Unavailable

There are several issues that can cause the website to be unavailable.
Here are a few things to check before contacting support:

  • Check if all Bi Office services are up and running.
    Services can be down for several reasons.
    1. The password of the user running the service is expired.
      If this is the case, you will get a login failure error when starting the service.
      You can update the login credentials in the Log On tab of the service.
    2. The SQL user password was changed.
      In this case, you will need to change the SQL server connection string in several configuration files.

  • If the services are up, but you are getting an error saying "Active Directory groups is unreachable" when trying to log in, then this indicates a problem with the Active Directory user in Pyramid.
    If this is the case, then you should still be able to access the Administrative Console with the Master user credentials.
  • To resolve this issue, please log into the Administrative Console, then go to the Setting tab and select Domain Access.  
    Now, click on Edit and correct the information that might have been changed in your environment.
